I'm New

We know that meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking.  We want to help make your first experience at Medina Naz a great one.

SERVICE TIMES...

Sunday School Classes: 9:30 a.m.

Worship Service: 10:30 a.m.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT:

Driving up...

...expect to turn onto Autumn Run Dr. before you turn into the church driveway.  The big church sign is at the corner of Wooster Pike & Autumn Run - just a couple hundred yards and you'll turn right at the drive.

Parking...
...expect to find a spot near the main doors.  There's a convenient, covered drop-off area - that's the best place to go in.

When you come in the doors...
...Expect to be greeted warmly!  'Cafe Naz' is always ready with hot coffee and tea, and there's usually a snack that's been lovingly prepared by our main barista, Nick!  Restrooms are conveniently located just off the foyer.  As you head into the sanctuary, you'll receive a program at the doors with the morning schedule, announcements, and an outline on the back if you want to take notes during
the Pastor's message.

...Services usually kicks off with the Medina Naz Band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected up on the wall so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.  The service also includes Scripture reading, prayer, and we'll receive an offering 9donations), but don't feel obligated to give - you're a guest!  The Pastor will share a relevant message, explaining Truth for your life from the Bible.  The whole thing usually goes until about 11:45am.

What About My Kids?
...We believe kids should have a blast and connect with Jesus, and at Medina Naz we provide a safe place for them to do all of that and more!

Kids under 2 go to the Church Nursery.  Just look for the check-in counter where you'll sign in and give the trained workers your diaper bag, etc.

Kids Age 2 thru Kindergarten go to the PreSchool room, located around the corner to the left of the sanctuary doors.

Elementary-aged kids will sit with you during the first part of the service.  Partway through they will be invited to "EPIC Kids," a fun learning environment just for them!  You can pick them up after the service.

What's the Culture of the Church?

...Medina Naz is a fun, casual, exciting place to get to know God and other people.  Come as you are - you will literally see some people kinda dressed up, and others in jeans or shorts.  The Pastor will prob. be in jeans.

...There's not a lot of 'ritual' in the service, and you are invited to express yourself in worship.

...Our band has a rock feel, and is primarily guitar-driven.  Most of the songs that are sung are contemporary expressions of worship, love, and gratitude to God.  It's stuff you might hear on Christyian radio like, "The Fish."

...Technology is used during worship, including video projection for worship songs, DVDs, video clips, and slides that correspond to the Pastor's message.
